Maffra Secondary College is a school of around 700 students catering for students from Maffra and surrounding districts - Newry, Heyfield, Coongulla, Cowwarr, Boisdale, Valencia Creek, Briagolong and Stratford.
The college has a philosophy of meeting the needs of all its students. We have a reputation for strong academic results as well as providing for students wanting to pursue vocational pathways.
The college offers a full VCE program as well as VET (Vocational Education and Training) subjects and the VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning).
Student leadership and welfare programs are also strengths of Maffra Secondary College. Student leadership groups operate across the college providing real opportunity for student input.
The college has a strong cultural and extra curricula program with a school choir, range of bands, drama productions, public speaking and many sporting opportunities.
